Job Description
This is a remote, home-based position.
Scopic Software (http://www.scopicsoftware.com) is seeking intelligent, hard-working, passionate C++ developer that wants to do interesting work in the area of Speech Recognition. Scopic Software is US-based company with employees in more than 10 different countries. The company develops graphics, multimedia and image processing/analysis software for the desktop, web and mobile platforms. Engineers work from the comfort of their home using a PC and internet connection. Projects can be short or long. Project team sizes range from 1 to 10 people, including QA and a project manager. Web-based project management, source code control and bug tracking software help to manage the development process. Work is interesting and challenging.
Requirements:
1) Good English reading and writing skills.
2) Proficiency in C++.
3) Signal processing experience. Speech recognition experience is preferable.
4) Experience with CMU Sphinx, Nuance Dragon or other speech recognition libraries — preferable.
5) Familiarity with Java is a plus.
6) Familiarity with Linux.
7) 2+ years experience in software development.
8) Bachelors degree or higher.
9) Interest in learning new technologies/skills.
10) Good home computer and internet connection.
This is full-time position, but part-time candidates may be also considered.
Hourly range — 15 $-20 $/hour depends on experience and skills.
