DigitalMR – a London based technology company with proprietary solutions for marketing and market research (MarTech), is seeking a tech savvy research manager to join the team working from home. Our young and diverse team uniquely combines the skill-sets of insights consultants, data scientists, and software engineers. We are a remote first, growing company looking for an eager candidate who will grow with us, both personally and professionally. The next big event on our calendar is whether a discovery to our path for exponential growth on our own or through a strategic partnership with a major global player. Either way the opportunities for successful team members to receive a windfall are many and probable.

The ideal candidate enjoys the autonomy of working from home but at the same time is self-driven, self-disciplined and efficient. As a minimum she/he will be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and have a minimum of 3 years of business experience conducting market research, data analysis, and project management. What we are looking for more so than years of experience is a good fit with our company values: Teamwork, Innovation, Partnership, Positive Attitude, Everything is Possible, and Relentless Focus (TIPPER). We believe that know-how can be taught and learned but certain character traits are difficult to change.

This role will provide you with exposure to high profile global brands and an opportunity to learn a versatile range of skills, as a key member of our team responsible for many of the day-to-day operations relating to project management and delivery. More specifically:

  • Developing, managing and delivering long term research projects for global brands
  • Supporting bid initiatives and client engagement efforts
  • Developing frameworks for problem solving; identifying and resolving key issues in complex client projects
  • Creating client-ready deliverables such as PPT presentations and presenting insights on our interactive dashboards on a variety of market research topics with minimal guidance and oversight
  • Analysing complex research requests to provide actionable recommendations and key findings to our clients
  • Collecting and analysing research data from social media and other online sources
  • Combining data sources from relevant databases to support client recommendations

We would be happy to hear from you if you have:

  • Strong command of the English language and demonstrated writing and editing skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines
  • Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and work under time pressure
  • Strong analytical approach and familiarity with digital methods and analysis techniques
  • Proposal writing and pitching skills
  • Excellent skills at building and managing relationships both with clients and colleagues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • A proven track record of managing research projects, from commission to delivery
  • Good knowledge of and interest in the digital market research industry

Extra credit will be given for:

  • Personal interest and knowledge in technology
  • Familiarity and ease with speaking about digital research solutions and methods
  • Experience with data visualisation dashboards (Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI)
  • Innovative new research ideas/methodologies
  • Experience with working with large data sets and writing simple scripts
