Purpose
- Deliver Finance Services to business in areas of expertise that could include receivables, reporting, accounting or treasury
- To support business by the provision of robust, timely financial information and/or services
- Uses best practices and knowledge to improve processes/services
- May direct and check work of more junior team members
- Tasks and responsibilities
- Responsibility for the accounting processes
- Active involvement in month end closing and year end processes
- Active communication with other departments
- Cooperation with auditors
- Building and maintaining strong relationship with stakeholders
- Reconciling balance sheet ledgers to sub-ledgers on AP/AR/GL and clearing accounts
Qualifications
Knowledge, Experience, Capabilities
- BSc/MSc degree in the field of Accounting/Finance
- Fluency in English is must and additional European language is strongly desired
- 1-3 years of experience in multinational environment
- Concern for high standards and data accuracy and service mindset
- Ability to communicate financial information to a finance audience
- Sound in economics, finance, or accounting background
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus)
- Good understanding of local statutory, tax and statistical reporting requirements
- Ability to effectively work in a cross-functional matrix organization
- Ability to structurally manage fast moving transformation and change agenda
