Accounts Payable Team Leader with French language knowledge role is open at our multinational partner, who is operating with a continuously growing Shared Service Center in Budapest downtown. The aim of the position is to successfully lead an AP accountant team and ensure the timely accurate payments in the EMEA region.

As an Accountant Payable Team Leader you will be responsible for the timely and accurate payments of the supplier invoices and ensuring the regular reconciliation of their accounts. Your job will be leading yearly and month end closings, resolving debit balance issues, and liaising with external and internal stakeholders in the EMEA region. You will also participate in process transition, reviewing and improving the accounts payable processes. As a Team Leader your tasks will include hiring and training the newcomer accounts payable accountants, managing a team of 10-20 people, monitoring their performance, leading one to one evaluations for them, and providing regular reports to the Accounts Payable Manager.
The ideal candidate for this position has a degree in Finance/ Economics, 4-5 years of background in accounting and at least 2-3 years of experience in leading the work of a team in an SSC environment. Fluent English and French language knowledge, accuracy and good communication skills are also required.
