We are looking for (student) architects to develop proposals and plans for a live/work/walk pedestrian compact urban community. This is part of a greater plan of societal innovation to build a more hopeful and peaceful future for Europe.
Europe’s collective socioeconomic stress is approaching the high levels that existed during the Great Depression of the 1930s that led to World War II. In the 21st century, Europe can and must chose a different path and be the birthplace not of another war but rather of enduring security, wellbeing and peace. We propose a new socioeconomic organizing model, and we need your help and talent to create architectural concept plans and illustrations.
Holigent.Org is a nonprofit organization in Los Angeles, California that is developing social, economic and environmental systemic sustainability concepts. We are now engaged in promoting action plans to construct Holigent (holistic-emergent) model communities with a hybrid economy and social contract.
Being close to the geographic center of the Continent, Budapest is the ideal location to build such a live/work/walk pedestrian compact urban village. The purpose is to plant the seed of societal innovation in Europe and demonstrate a new hybrid socioeconomic organizing arrangement that is free of the flaws of existing systems. The Holigent socioeconomic plan will be able to secure economic, social and environmental justice, quality and sustainability –– one community at a time.
The first phase of this assignment will be to choose a site, preferably along the Danube River near Budapest, and produce architectural concept plans of a live/work/walk compact urban village.
