CEE Category Management Lead
Purpose:
The category manager creates a marketing strategy that optimizes the consumer journey across CCG (Customer Channels Group) channels to drive share, revenue, and category profit and customer preference for Microsoft products. They have deep expertise of key consumer insights and market knowledge related to a category of products. Methodologies include assortment optimization, merchandising, promotions, messaging and identifies key partnerships. Deliver all up revenue/share/units within category across channels by deploying applicable strategies through; marketing programs, promotions and campaigns.
This category expert has a unique perspective – across channels – to enable a higher-level, consumer marketing strategy; and offers subject matter expertise to our partners to increases success within a product category. Experiences Required:
•10+ years’ experience in category management and/or product planning in a devices orientated environment
•Core marketing experience
•Consumer marketing or sales background or proven knowledge of consumer selling channels
•Being a conduit between technology and the business with the voice of customer in mind
•Financial and analytical experience
•Management experience
