The Enterprise Strategy Architect Manager leads a team of Enterprise Architects (EAs), whose mission is to deliver business value and outcome-based solutions that help clients accelerate adoption, consumption and usage of Microsoft solutions and technologies to improve business performance.

–      Effective practice leadership, showing executive maturity and building a high performing team

–      Driving delivery of quality customer deliverables, incl. work orders, status reports and customer value reports

–      Customer satisfaction tracking, ensuring initial customer expectations and conditions of satisfaction are set/met

      Operations Management

–      Cross-team orchestration and collaboration, including Sales, Operations, Finance, HR, Product Groups…

–      Practice operations management, incl. utilization, bench size, profitability, people metrics, expenses…

–      Ensuring team and district/sub/area achieves EOY Enterprise Strategy goals by tracking and driving KPIs such as sales, renewals, hiring, customer satisfaction…

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the Enterprise Strategy Architect Manager consist of:

      People Management

–      Resource & capacity planning for the Enterprise Architects (EAs) for all CEE

–      Driving onboarding and ongoing readiness of EAs

–      Performance and Career development for EAs

      Sales Management

–      Account Plan creation with sales teams, identification of target accounts, regular review of opportunities

–      Sales motion and value proposition, driving sales to penetrate Microsoft major accounts.

–      Preparation of EAs for effective pre-sales with new customers, coach and drive opportunity development

–      Plan and execute engagement renewals to ensure lasting architectural presence

Qualifications

The broad scope of responsibility of this role requires a varied set of skills and experience to effectively address all dimensions of the role – people, sales, operations and delivery. It requires strong people, leadership and orchestration skills, as well as a solid understanding of Business and IT strategy, a principled approach to broader architectural challenges & opportunities, and a solid grasp of business, technology and solutions.

      Degree (Computer Science or Business), and/or equivalent experience.

      At least 8-10 years related Business and/or IT consulting experience and 5-8 years team management experience, 20+ years of professional experience overall.

      Deep understanding of markets, industries, business, customers, and technology. Strong business orientation with broad experience in technology industry, and some other industries (e.g. banking, retail, public service, oil and gas) in a consulting, and managing technology-enabled business change and/or related activities.

      Significant experience in People management and proven talent for team leadership, driving teams of 5-15 FTEs for performance and growth through customer satisfaction.

      Proven ability to run Sales & People operations in a reliable manner, from Account planning and Engagement sales, through delivery to customer satisfaction and renewal, with an inflexible focus on quality and continuous improvement.

      Ability to show leadership, both with customers and Microsoft teams, and provide a trusted voice at the decision-making table, at Microsoft or with customers

      Strong organizational skills and ability to manage resources, as well as to orchestrate and coordinate multi-organizational physical and virtual resources and initiatives.

      Executive-level interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills; ability to mesh well with customers decision makers, by being a good listener, a team builder and an articulate advocate of Microsoft’s vision and value proposition.
