Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Chief Operations Officer in Budapest to join Technology and Data?s Division Management department in Budapest. The successful candidate will work with the global business management team as well as with the local management team to support the Budapest departments with the management of their operations, resources and financials.

The key responsibilities include:
Business Management & Financial Analysis
– Financial oversight of Budapest T&D cost centres/groups
– Support budget/forecast data collection & variance analysis
– Invoice approvals
– Analyses of costs incurred (Training, Telephone, etc.)
– Analyses of rate cards and underlying cost drivers (allocations, FX rates, etc.)

Resourcing: 
– Resourcing administration ? monthly tracking, reporting, and forecasting
– Graduate & lateral recruitment coordination ? support for hiring managers re: on-boarding procedures and administration
– Contingent resource recruitment and coordination, to include vendor management
– Validation and approval of all resource requisitions for FTEs and contingent labor
– Validation and approval of new hires, transfers and terminations for all resource types, for FTEs and contingent labor.
– Active participation in office space planning, management, and forecasting

Reporting / Communication:
– Co-ordination of monthly service and operating reports
– Provide support to management for communication of departmental strategy
– Support weekly IT managers meeting
– Own ITAdmin sharepoint site and maintain content

Day to Day Operation:
– Engage with Corporate Services on space and environmental issues
– Managing the Administration team and their responsibilities:
– Seating allocation for all new staff
– Vacation tracking for all employees
– Travel Management for all employees
– Expenses management for officers
– Event management for the office as required
– Updating organisation charts
– Assisting in Reporting
– Calendar management for senior managers
– Management of Technology Library
– Supporting other Division Management functions located in Budapest, including
– TFR analysis and reporting
– Locations strategy analysis and reporting

Staff Development:
Drive the Budapest Technology and Data department?s staff development agenda, specifically:
– Coordinate the People and Communication Committees in furtherance of the people agenda
– Support training needs analyses and coordinate training activities with the Learning and Development organisation
– Execute Reward and Recognition nominations and awards (2x per year)

Special Projects:
From time to time, the Division Management team will also be required to participate in special projects as requested by IT Management, including:

– Production of adhoc presentations, analysis and proposal documents 
– Town Halls and other forums
– Global Tech Expo
– Tech Open Evening
– Career Month
– C3 event
– PR/Marketing campaigns

Desired Skills & Experience

Skills Required:- Strong communication / interpersonal skills to be able to interact at all levels & be effective as part of a broader community of business and operational management
– Effective organisational & prioritisation skills – project management background useful
– Aptitude for IT and understanding of technology concepts and terminology
– Methodical / organised approach to financial analysis and accounting processes
– Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Skills Desired:- Excellent writing and public speaking skills
– Team leadership 
– Finance or Accounting knowledge
– Familiarity with Investment Banking environment

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelors degree
