Job Description

This is a remote, home-based position.
Scopic Software is the largest virtual software company in the world. We have almost 200 employees. All employees work from home. We develop custom software applications for clients in North America and Europe. The company is looking to hire a talented application deployment expert skilled at setting up large cloud-based, scalable, fault-tolerant enterprise applications.

Requirements:

• Good English skills – reading, writing and spoken.
• Server-side enterprise-level application experience.
• Extensive experience with at least one of these cloud computing platforms: Amazon, MS Azure or Google Cloud.
• Expertise in auto-scaling solutions for cloud-based applications.
• Expertise in fault-tolerant solutions for cloud-based applications.
• Linux OS expertise including BASH scripting.
• Configurations to achieve SLA adherence.
• Interest and discipline to work effectively from home.

 

This is a part-time position. Work hours are flexible.
