Job Description
Since its establishment in 1999, The Bakelit Multi Art Center in Budapest, Hungary, has been hosting and presenting fine and performing artists for nearly 20 years. Our main ambition is to offer infrastructure for cultural projects by accommodating creative individuals with diverse spaces and opportunities to learn, create, and perform.
We strive to offer a comfortable environment for artists to think innovatively and showcase new creative works, while also functioning as a community center for events and public participation. With a mission of sustaining and supporting stirring new work and ideas, Bakelit forges connections between its local and international community by supplying an authentic atmosphere to live and work in.
Now Bakelit M.A.C. is looking for enthusiastic fine and performing arts loving interns.
Your tasks:
- Preparing and organizing of cultural programmes
- Communicating with artists/performers
- Organizing archives
- Developing databases
- Administrative work
- Organizing artist/ performer transportation
- Other operative tasks
Interns are required to have the following:
- Current bachelor, master or postgraduate
- Good English communication skills (reading, writing & speaking)
- Interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with social media
- Familiarity with microsoft office and other common software
- Good management skills
- Practical/ problem solving skills
- Excellent English skills are desirable as well as an interest in contemporary dance and the arts.
