Freelance Customer Support
Job Description
Qualifications/Education:
- Must be educated to at least Higher/A Level or equivalent standard
- Degree in an IT related subject preferred
Experience required:
- Must have customer support/service experience
- Technical support experience in a customer focused role preferred
Skills required:
- Fluent in English as well as at least 1 other language German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch or Russian
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Experienced in working with different CRMs
- Ability to identify main source of a technical problem and provide the adequate solution
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Interest and experience of ‘online gaming’
Main responsibilities:
- General Customer/Technical Support
- Provide support via phone and/or email for inbound customer contacts seeking technical assistance, game play and billing queries
- Carry out research to troubleshoot customers’ technical problems
- Research new resolutions for addition to knowledge database
- Perform any other duties related to technical support as and when required
- Ensure that client escalation procedures are adhered to
- Responsible for providing exhaustive and complete troubleshooting before escalation
- Any other reasonable duties as directed by line manager
Hours of work
Main hours of work for the role are between 3pm to Midnight, Wednesday – Sunday.
