DEMAND PLANNING ANALYST

Our partner, who is a multinational market leader company focusing on the distribution of health care, household and personal products is currently looking for a Demand Planning Analyst in Budapest. The aim of the position is to analyse and increase planning accuracy, monitor inventory levels, maintain forecasts and identify deviations.

Main responsibilities of the Demand Planning Analyst:

• Building demand plan, monitoring sales vs forecast performance, determining and communicating deviations
• Preparing monthly demand planning KPI diagnostics
• Preparing and conducting commercial gap identification meetings, identifying expectations and goals of the company
• Monitoring planned supply and inventory levels, collaborating with Availability Manager and Category Network Planning
• Evaluating forecast accuracy, identifying problems, propose implementable improvements
• Maintaining updated sales forecasts in the system
• Strong cooperation with the commercial team, communicating product availability shortages

Requirements:

• University/College degree
• At least 2-3 years experience in demand planning and forecasting at FMCG companies
• Fluent English knowledge
• Being extremely accurate, precise and detail oriented is a must
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills combined with strong analytical/mathematical abilities
• Deep knowledge and understanding of supply chain metrics and commercial planning basics (promotion planning, new product launches, customer planning)
• Ability to work under pressure, strong multi-tasking skills
