Task(s):

  • Increases the level of sales
  • Provides leadership and management to meet revenue targets and maintain compliance
  • Manages a diverse and large call center environment with multiple business units and teams
  • Collaborates with executive management and Talent Acquisition to enhance a call center personnel strategy.
  • Communicates goals and propels the center to achieve them, along with facilitating and maintaining quality standards.
  • Provides and facilitates continued professional development of site staff and implements processes to improve training and onboarding for new hires.
  • Incentivizes and motivates call center staff through development and/or implementation of rewards and recognition programs.
  • Develops workflows to ensure a consistent and optimal client experience
  • Direct responsibility for P&L and call center yield, employee turnover, and collector efficiency/productivity.
  • Behaves in a manner that is consistent with professional standards and the core values of the company
  • Maintains an accurate and current database
  • Overcomes client resistance/objections to products
  • Provides a weekly schedule of planned activities
  • Develops and implements the go-to-market sales approach for the inside sales team
  • Develops and mentors insides sales team members to build a positive and winning sales culture
  • Facilitates change, plans for growth, contributes to and execute long-range strategy
  • Attracts, screens and hires a high performance inside sales team
  • Delivers day to day leadership of inside sales managers and inside sales reps toward the achievement of sales goals
  • Sets specific goals and direction for inside sales managers and reps
  • Recruits, on-boards and integrates a team of inside sales talent and inside sales management.
  • Defines, refines and institutionalise sales best practices and processes throughout the team
  • Monitors quality and consistency of all sales processes and activities with inside sales managers
  • Deploys account management and closing skills to mentor and guide the team to achieving their objectives
  • Utilizes reporting and analysis to understand and effectively manage your business
  • Creates and implements inside sales career development plans
  • Works closely with marketing to execute targeted campaigns to build and accelerate pipeline
  • Works with corporate training resources to ensure appropriate tools and learning opportunities are provided to your team. Implement appropriate inside sales training systems to facilitate growth and sales effectiveness
  • Meets and exceeds quarterly and annual revenue quotas

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in calling into large companies and navigating through personnel to gain access to decision makers.
  • 5+ years of experience in Call Center Management within Conference Industry
  • Working experience in IIR, Marcus Evans, IQPC, Euromoney Confernces is an advantage
  • Overseeing 20+ call center staff
  • Working knowledge of Conference Industry
  • Advanced Level of English
  • Excellent  verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks
  • Microsoft Office (MS Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook), call center software, phone systems.
  • Track record of building and leading a positive, successful sales culture
  • Ability to forge alliances with other executives across departments to advance the success of your team
  • Success in hiring and retaining top inside sales talent
  • Strategic capability to see the big picture and the tactical path to get there
  • Problem solving skills, flexible attitude, resourceful and effective in making decisions
  • Proven experience consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas
  • Proven ability to function well in a collaborative environment and inspire a strong sense of camaraderie, accountability, and high performance across teams.
