A French Speaking Service Desk Team Leader role is open at our multinational partner, who is operating in the IT sector and has a newly established Shared Service Center in Budapest downtown. The aim of the position is to lead a 1st level service desk team and ensuring the smooth resolution of the customer requires from the Italian market.

As a Service Desk Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and managing a multilingual 1st level service desk team of 10-15 people. Together with the Service Delivery Manager you will participate in a process transition and process improvement, providing trainings for the newcomers and helping by hiring the service desk agents. Your job will be monitoring the individual and team performance, providing regular and ad hoc KPI reports and run monthly on to one evaluations. You will act as a further point of contact and resolve more complex customer requests, while liaising with the internal and external stakeholders via phone and email. 

The ideal candidate for this position has a degree, background in service desk environment, at least 2-3 years of experience in managing a team and speaks English and French fluently. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, hands on attitude and strong people management skills are also required. Experience in an SSC environment and working in a matrix organisation is also necessary.
