Full-Time GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT
Job Description
We are seeking a General Ledger Accountant for our global partner’s flourishing Business Service Organization in Budapest. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and ambitious General Ledger Accountant to join an expanding multinational business’ dynamic local team.
The General Ledger Accountant’s main duty is to ensure that the General Ledgers are maintained correctly. On a daily basis you will have to prepare account reconciliations and journal entriesbesides ensuring that monthly, quarterly and year end closings are in accordance with local and European accounting policies. You will also have to guarantee that expenses, costs and accruals are booked against the appropriate cost centres. Responsibilities also include preparing analytics for markets and cooperation with different financial divisions locally and through Europe.
The ideal candidate for this position has 2-4 years of GL / R2R accounting or controlling experiencein a multinational environment. As our partner supports many countries worldwide, you need tospeak English fluently plus good command of any other language would be a great advantage. We are looking for an experienced applicant who is willing to develop and is also able to learn new processes quickly.
