A GL Team Leader position is open at our prestigious partner, who has recently established a brand new shared service centre in Budapest. The GL Team Leader position’s aim is to ensure proper booking by keeping all corporate and local legislation. Acting in this role your main responsibility will be to manage a group of 15+ accountants and to ensure smooth running of accounting processes. Your tasks will include supervising the company’s closings, bookkeeping and reporting processes, preparing analytics and taking part in budgeting. You will also need to work together with external audit.
The ideal candidate for this position:
•has a university and / or college degree;
•speaks English fluently;
•has at least 5 years of experience in the field of accounting, being minimum 2 years a leader;
•has solid knowledge of SAP, SOX standards and US GAAP.
