About Randstad Innovation Fund
Randstad Innovation Fund (RIF) is the corporate venture fund of Randstad, specialist in solutions in the field of flexible work and human resources services. The goal of RIF is to accelerate innovation by investing in HR technology start-up companies with high potential for growth. Investments will be made between 0,5 and 5 m euro per company. The aim is for the investments to give strategic input in the current operations and the long term strategy of Randstad.
Position Summary
RIF is currently looking for both a Junior and a Senior Analyst.
Reporting to the Managing Partners of the Randstad Innovation Fund, the responsibilities are researching and qualifying market segments and the innovation funnel for lead generation, as well as identifying and analysing investment targets and ultimately monitor portfolio companies’ performance and space.
Your responsibilities
• Conduct market research in the field of HR technology and develop market insights,
• Identify and analyse relevant data on potential investments in order to prepare quantitative and qualitative analyses,
• Prepare comprehensive financial models and valuations, research appropriate comparison metrics,
• Assist with due diligence process related to new investments,
• Prepare reporting and assessments on portfolio companies,
• Assist in financing rounds and investment proposals along the lifecycle of the portfolio companies.
Key Performance Indicators
• Creative and effective market research, key trends and reports,
• Excellent analysis of investment opportunities,
• Open and proactive sharing of knowledge with the Group,
• Superior reporting and accuracy on portfolio companies.
Your profile
• Master degree preferably in economics or computer science,
• Strong affinity and follow up trainings in finance or new technology,
• Working experience of 1-2 years for the Junior position and of around 5 years for the Senior position in a field naturally applied to global investment – equity research, venture capital, private equity, consulting, investment banking or economics or educational background in this field,
• Excellent communication skills in English (speaking & writing),
• Knowledge of another European language would be preferred.
