The Job
The Inside Sales Representative is a member of the commercial team and is responsible for selling all products of P&O Ferrymasters Ltd., by gaining new customers and enlarging volumes with existing customers. The Inside Sales Representative is also responsible for administrative support to the Outside Sales team.
Your key responsibilities:
- Gathering information about prospects and approaching them with information about the activities of P&O Ferrymasters Ltd.
- Supporting Outside Sales team in completing weekly itineraries and processing visit reports
- Cold-calling en marketing activities
- Monitoring the developments of existing and/or new prospects
- Enlarging volumes with existing accounts and new customers
- Providing day to day quotations and follow-up
- Joining of outside sales on a regular base when visiting existing and/or new prospects
- Checking of bookings on a weekly base of all existing clients
Required Skills, knowledge and experience:
- Degree in Commercial / Logistics studies
- Experience in a similar commercial job role
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Logistics and Forwarding
- Good command of English, Hungarian and preferably a third language
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office packages
- Required competencies: Strong communication (verbal and written) and cooperation skills, commercially astute, immunity to stress, accuracy and eye for detail, team player, flexibility, learning ability, responsibility, persistence
