Our client operates in the online sports betting industry and they recently opened their new development centre in Budapest.

The Java Developer role offers the opportunity to combine cutting edge technologies with interesting projects in an agile environment. The scope varies from development of complicated affiliate systems to secure payment management and processing applications. Managing the amount of daily transactions provides an interesting technical challenge. The development is heavily back-end oriented in Linux environment with the latest technologies: Java 7-8, Spring (MVC), Hibernate, Jenkins, Maven and JQuery for the UI. Work is organised with the combination of Scrum and Kanban.

Desired Skills and Experience

JSE/JEE experience in a commercial environment, preferably web-based projects
Good knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, JMS, JSP, JSF, SQL (Oracle or other), WebServices
At least intermediate English skills
Team player with passion for quality code and delivering on time.
