Job Description

IT Infrastructure operations engineer to work in Developers Work Place team. This team provides the infrastructure and tools needed for Developers. The job involves handling platform-related issues encountered during development, hot issues, and integration with platforms and providing technology support and consulting to arbitrary software development units.

Responsibilities:
– Developing extensions and plugins for applications
– Technical consulting for Java-JEE6 based applications
– Debugging/Supporting complex Java/JEE6 related issues
– Configuring and troubleshooting of Apache, Tomcat
– Technical support operations including troubleshooting, software configuration, patching, and upgrades
– On call support on rotation basis with other colleagues

What we require:
– Language: English (Writing/Speaking)
– 5 + years of experience in Java and J2EE / JEE6
– Experience working with software development lifecycle including source control systems (e.g.; GIT, SVN, CVS), ticketing systems (e.g.; JIRA, SNOW), collaboration tools like Wiki.
– Strong knowledge in continuous integration / Build & Deployment tools like Jenkins / Hudson / Bamboo etc.
– Strong knowledge about Linux / Windows based infrastructure
– Good familiarity with scripting languages; Perl / Shell / batch scripting /  Ruby  / Python
– Experience on Mobile Platform tools (xBot/mobileiron/etc.) is a plus
