Full-Time Junior/Intermediate Test Engineer Manual
Job Description
We invite a motivated Test Engineer to join our team and work with a major player in the Point of Sale domain. Our client has partnered with leading quick service and fast-casual restaurants for over 30 years, delivering end-to-end solutions for restaurant managers to help them drive improvements and greater profitability. You will work on a system that manages POS devices inside a restaurant, mostly working with the team in the office. What’s in it for you:

Qualifications and experience:
- 1+ years’ experience in testing
- Solid knowledge of client server and web-based application structure
- Moderate knowledge of databases (SQL)
- Solid knowledge of Linux OS, SSH and shell scripting experience
- Experience with UI testing
- Solid theoretical knowledge of testing levels, types, and test design techniques
- Intermediate+ English
Nice to have:
- Experience with testing on mobile platforms
- Experience in REST API testing and NoSQL
- Higher Technical Education (Specialist in Information Technologies or Physics or Mathematics etc.)
Key responsibilities:
- Perform various testing types to confirm product compliance with requirements
- Ensure product quality and delivery with the team of developers
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams in the US, Ukraine, and Hungary
- Work closely with the team on defining, estimating, and delivering scope in time
- Perform UI and functional testing, review requirements
- Proactively obtain and clarify requirements
