Full-Time Logistics Service Coordinator with German
Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In charge of daily monitoring of shipments status;
- Acting as problem solver for logistics related issues;
- Selecting optimized solution among potential alternatives;
- Acting as a First interface and escalation point to the logistics Service Provider;
- Responsible for providing support to the Customer Service to deal with exceptions and special requirements;
- Supporting the optimization of the equipment utilization (combination, payload);
- Pro-actively solving short-term capacity imbalances and mitigate demurrages;
- Taking active part in logistics work process improvement initiatives;
- Identifying opportunities and providing assistance in resolving productivity issues;
- In charge of freight cost booking and systems accuracy;
- Supporting continuous improvement and growth (e.g. logistics work processes).
Requirements:
- Bsc or Msc degree in Economics or Logistics;
- Fluent in German and very good command of English;
- At least 1-2 years of experience in logistics service coordination;
- Good problem-solving skills;
- Organization and multi-tasking skills;
- Work independently in an integrated team and communicate with diverse groups of people across all levels and cultures;
- Applies knowledge of key logistics methodology, technology, and disciplines;
- Proficient in MS Office applications;
- Working knowledge with SAP.
