We are looking for a Market Manager to help expanding our hotel partners` network in Germany. This person should be experienced in the travel industry and/or sales/business development and key account management and have a strong background in establishing and managing partner relationships. The Market Manager will be taking care of hotel market in Germany, identifying market trends and defining potential supply sources.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and contact potential hotel partners
- Coordinate contracting process with new suppliers and contract renewal with existing partners
- Account management: ensure last room availability and pricing competitiveness
- Evaluate production and determine optimization possibilities and follow up action
- Act as key contact point for our hotel partners to maintain relationship, resolve all issues relating to accounting, allotment, pricing, vouchers, notification, cancellations, etc.
- Take part in personal meetings with hotel partners
- Participate in market research as required
- Fair contribution to team targets, with special emphasis on acquiring new partners and reaching financial goals by optimizing the performance of existing hotel partners
- Manage all supplier data in distribution systems. Provide training of distribution systems for suppliers
- Manage weekly and monthly supplier and internal reports
- Manage other ad-hoc administrative requests and operative tasks
Desired Skills and Experience
- Must be fluent in German and English
- Sales/ Account Management experience required
- Multinational experience / background
- Experience in the hotel and/or travel industry is an advantage
- Education in Tourism related field is an advantage
- Strong computer skills
