 Marketing and Event Coordinator

 

The company

The Pan European HR Network organises the Annual HR Tech Europe Conference & Expo in Amsterdam. The event is Europe’s fastest growing community and event for HR & IT leaders from Europe’s Top 5000 Enterprises. With a new executive office in Millenáris Park we are looking for passionate and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our expanding office in Budapest.

 

Role Summary

  • Product Marketing: manage the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing plans for events and conferences including email, website merchandising optimization, search engines and social media marketing through twitter, Google, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Product Management: work closely with production and creative teams on new product development, rollout strategies and product life cycle analyses; identify unique selling propositions and clear competitive differentiation points; collaborate on pricing and design strategies; focus on market research and incorporate customer feedback into overall positioning strategy.
  • Online Focus: work with production and online team to create and maintain compelling web pages, online conference registrations, Lead generation and qualitative management of our databases, manage search engine marketing and social networking media initiatives; analyse website user activity reports on a regular basis.
  • Budgeting: ensure that product line is within budget.
  • Analytics: web analytics reports and direct mail campaign analyses to continuously improve web site usability and increase conversion rates. Required in real time!

 Desired Skills & Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business-related discipline
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in online and offline direct marketing, customer acquisition and retention in a business-to-business professional services or training organization
  • Superior project management skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously and providing clear communication of timelines and expectations to team members
  • Ability to analyze markets and customer needs and develop marketing plans and product recommendations based on those needs
  • Proficient understanding of web site functionality, email & social marketing best practices
  • Ability to define and track the key metrics for email and online marketing success
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, organizational, and written communication skills
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office software applications – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience and success with SEM, SEO, mobile websites, apps and leveraging Social Media to expand brand
  • Minimal travel required – Amsterdam, Paris, London.
