Neostratus is a cloud platform operator and software developer company based in Budapest, Hungary serving telecom and IT service providers across Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. Our White Label customized business cloud services provide secure local data storage, support multi-tier reseller structures, BSS integration and flexible public, hybrid or private cloud flavors. We build and operate the service platforms with SaaS and IaaS workloads in our local and in our partner’s remote datacenters on physical or virtual server infrastructure. Our Cloud Services Manager software is providing marketplace, administration and integration capabilities with modular technical provisioning interfaces for locally hosted or remote services. We operate an ISO27001 certified ISMS and work with key technology partners like Microsoft, Dell, Cisco, VMware and others.

Job Description
We are expanding our operations and system engineering team with experienced engineers to design, build, operate and support services based primarily on Microsoft server technologies:
- Productivity: Exchange, Skype for Business and SharePoint server farms
- Cloud OS: Windows Server, System Center and Windows Azure Pack
- Web applications with MS SQL database backends
- Underlying core technologies like AD, ADFS, firewalls, servers, networking and storage systems
Our engineers work in a team with bi-weekly prioritized task assignments, regular and emergency 3rd level partner support duties, flexible working hours with support of occasional home office remote work. Each engineer is specialized is a subset of technologies, but should have a generic understanding of all platform components. We are encouraging self-study and training on the latest technology together with earning professional certifications.
Our office is in Budapest, Hungary (close to Batthyány tér in a quiet, non-industrial area) and we operate all our platforms remotely, there is no need for regular travel besides occasional customer project workshops and rare local datacenter visits.
Desired Skills and Expertise
- Multi-year professional experience in designing and/or operating server platforms
- Strong skills around building, operating and supporting Microsoft Exchange
- Specific knowledge and completed projects with other above listed Microsoft technologies and/or services
- Planning and design skills: should be able to independently build complete environments preferably with DevOps style automation, scripting and software development specification creation capabilities
- Operational and support skills: analytical knowledge to diagnose and solve complex problems, pinpoint interoperability or security issues, work with partner engineers
- Must be a team player both within the team and when interfacing with other teams, especially developers and partner technical teams
- Should be open minded with continuous knowledge sharing
- Enjoy working in a multi-national, diverse company with strong customer focus
- Having current Microsoft certifications is an advantage
- Experience with Linux and/or network devices is an advantage
- English language written and spoken is a must
- Hungarian language is not a strong requirement, but an important advantage
