About this role
This is an opportunity for junior Java developers. We expect you to have 1-3 years’ experience with Java.
Requirements
You need 3 years of experience as a Java developer to qualify for this position.
To join us, you will need to have experience with and a strong understanding of:
· Java 8 or later plus Spring/Spring MVC/Sprint Cloud
· Databases: Relational Backend Database, NoSQL database, JDBC Template
· Interprocess Communication: REST, Google Protocol Buffers, etc.
· Testing: JUnit 4, TDD, jBehave, Cucumber or similar
· ORM: Hibernate or similar
· Distributed Systems Foundations
· Cloud experience: AWS
You get bonus points for:
· Schema migration: Liquibase, Flyway or similar
· Streaming technology: Kafka, AWS Kinesis
· Orchestration: Airflow, Cadence, etc.
The following soft skills are appreciated:
· Self-starter, proactive in finding solutions
· Experience working in a distributed team
· A strong sense of ownership
