Job Description

The duties will include:

• English language teaching on Special Needs Education and Disability (BA and MA)
• Proofreading scientific texts
• Curriculum development for English for Specific Purposes

Requirements:

• Canadian, British or American citizenship
• Minimum five years of teaching experience
• College/university degree

Preferences:

• TEFL certificate qualification or equivalent
• Diploma or experience in Special Needs Education or associated fields (e.g. Disability Studies, Social Welfare, Social Policy, Sociology, Psychology, Education)
• Experience in Higher Education or Adult Education
• Proofreading experience
• Current professional or academic activity
• Hungarian language skills

Starting date: 1^st September 2015

Place of work: 1093 Budapest, Ecseri út 3.

Salary and benefits: The salary and benefits shall be governed by the provisions of the “Act on the status of civil servants” Nr. XXXIII of 1992. Additional support is available for rented accommodation,   which includes the cost of accommodation overheads.
