Are you interested in teaching English? DILO is a fast-growing online English academy that has designed a course following a methodology of learning acquisition only through speaking classes with different topics each week.Our students join our platform and are able to book their speaking classes 15 minutes before starting them. These classes also have a duration of 15 minutes each.
We are looking to contract English teachers to analyze and provide feedback to a group of students, who take 2 classes of 15 minutes each per week. Your tasks consist of receiving the audios of the classes, analyzing their speaking individually and providing audio feedback and comments to help them improve. This feedback is sent to the students individually.
As there are 2 classes per week, for 9 students, it would be a total of 18 feedbacks provided each week. All of them will be fully speaking, and giving corrections, advice and suggestions to improve.
There is no fixed timetable. Each monday you will receive the audios and each friday you will have to deliver the 18 feedbacks. You can manage your time as you want, the only requirement is to send them before receiving the next ones, so the work does not accumulate, and the students obtain their feedback on time.
You will work until June, and after the summer holidays, in September again.
Required
- Studies in English translation or English philology
- Cambridge C1 advanced certificate (or equivalent certification) and a good accent.
- Access to a computer or phone with a reliable internet connection.
- Certified English teacher with proven experience will be a plus.
- Experience delivering online classes would also be valuable.
- Being comfortable working in a digital environment.
- Good computer skills.
