Part-Time Part-time host/hostess
Job Description
The Writer’s Villa (newest member of the Brody House Group) is currently hiring a Part Time Host/Hostess. The Host/Hostess is responsible for assisting the housekeeping couple, receiving and entertaining guests, overlooking cleanliness and appearance of the villa and its garden terrace.
The person fulfilling this role will have to ensure that all standards of fine dining service are met and exemplary customer service is be provided to all residents.
- Assists with reservations and scheduling of tables for special events and holidays.
- Provides beverage and food service when needed.
- Arrange and maintain seating aresa and dining room.
Requirements
- Ability to multi-task efficiently in a busy environment.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
- Ability to interpret and explain menus, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests.
- Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, families, and staff.
- Ability to work in a safe manner complying with all departments and Community safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to work minimum 4 hour shifts.
Fresh graduates in the field of Tourism and Hotel management can also apply as excellent training from industry experts will be provided.

I am writing about the position of host with brody house group . I have moved recently to Budapest with my family and I have many years experience working as a host in Ireland and in Catalonia , both countries famous for their hosting .
