This is a remote, home-based position.

Scopic Software (www.scopicsoftware.com) is seeking intelligent, hard-working, passionate PHP / JavaScript Developer that wants to do interesting work. Scopic Software is US-based company with employees in more than 10 different countries. The company develops graphics, multimedia and image processing/analysis software for the desktop, web and mobile platforms. Engineers work from the comfort of their home using a PC and internet connection. Work is interesting and challenging.

 

Skills required:

• Good English reading and writing skills. Ideally good verbal English skills.
• Strong PHP skills.
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (e.g., Symfony, Yii, Laravel, Zend).
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Fronted programming skills: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript including Javascript frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, Backbone.js, knockoutjs, node.js).
• 2+ years experience in software development.
• Dedication and discipline to work remotely from home.
• Good home computer and internet connection.

 

Skills preferred (optional):

• Experience with Amazon Services.
• Experience with TCP/IP, Web Sockets.
• Experience with audio and video programming.
• Experience with 2D/3D graphics programming.

 

We prefer full-time candidates, but part-time candidates will be also considered.

 

Hourly range — 9USD-15USD/hour depends on experience and skills.
