Full-Time Customer Project Manager

Job Description

Role Purpose and Essential Expectations:

The Customer Project Manager is responsible for coordinating between the customers and the developer team of iREMS. He/she manages effective project implementation and delivery to ensure customer satisfaction. The Customer Project Manager identifies and manages resource requirements, required skill sets, training plans, quality reviews, documentations and weekly meetings required for project execution.

Our main goal as iREMSers is to help our customers reach their highest business potential with our innovative solutions. The Customer Project Manager takes an integral role in this by shaping and modeling business processes via interpreting them into envisioned software functionalities.

Within our agile developing environment, we need the Customer Project Manager to be sharp, a fast-learner, logical thinker with the right attitude to make quick and precise decisions. The Customer Project Manager communicates effectively and keeps the integrity of the ever-evolving product in mind all the way throughout each new release cycle. This person maintains close working relationship with the development team as well as the customer.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Learn and understand the software feature functionality on a detailed logical level
  • Develop a project plan including project scope, release schedule, milestones, deliverables etc, thus communicate project status
  • Articulate a vision and direction to the development team
  • Track and monitor project execution, follow-up on internal development implementation
  • Improve customer relationship by providing timely and accurate responses to their inquiries
  • Coordinate communications between customers and project team throughout the project implementation phase
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Perform negotiations on project activities with customer when required
  • Follow-up on project documentation
  • Improve project management culture within the company and take part in policy design
  • Provide mentoring within the team and actively participate in internal knowledge-sharing forums; conduct trainings

Qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum BSc in fields of economics or IT
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a must
  • Preferably minimum 2 – 3 years of work experience in an international environment
  • Previous Product Owner experience in a software solution provider company or accounting/finance knowledge is an advantage
