Essential Responsibilities: The Project Manager – Document Management is a functional leader whom demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. This role will focus on regional processes and collaborate on global processes. They will directly lead the implementation and long-term governance of the deployed solution, including the work direction of local contract resources.

  • Serve as functional expert for document management systems and project leader in support of assigned areas
  • Partners with the PMO organization to develop and implement comprehensive project plans, beginning with project team structure and resource assignment, and ending with a control plan identifying both business process metrics and IT platform quality requirements
  • Identifies opportunities for simplification using the chosen Alfresco DMS to generate a project backlog based upon business impact and outcomes
  • Lead / own the DMS solution from concept design with business partners to a fully executed technology solution
  • Identifies critical path decisions, makes recommendations and influences program leaders and business process owners to maximize project payback; Manages daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, as-requested by customer
  • Collaborates with both global process and center PMOs to implement and maintain enterprise-wide document management solutions for in-process document creation, storage and retrieval
  • Translate functional to technical requirements and partners with IT to implement those requirements
  • Create analytical reporting of DMS tools to understand end user proficiency, compliance and simplification opportunities. Has responsibility to optimize the deployed solution
  • Drive the enterprise document data governance strategy, encompassing process and technology, in order to establish a sustainable business data discipline
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in the application of information technologies to business solutions)
  • Minimum 4 years of operational experience implementing or optimizing financial or operational processes
  • Minimum 4 years of demonstrated high competency in project management and the execution of multiple projects across functions

  • Multiple years experience in the execution of document management system technologies and their influence on business functions
  • Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems
  • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Quality and cost driven

  • Ability to influence and build consensus with other IT teams and leadership
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
