Full-Time Purchasing Manager
Job Description
Overall responsibility:
The position holder handles the company’s purchasing activities; ensures that procurement process is carried out according to the company’s purchasing policy; manages contract inventory and filing systems, in order to provide updated and accurate contract management/inventory services to the departments.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
– participate in/manage tender processes
– control, administer purchase requisitions/ordering processes
– negotiate best deals on services/products for Wizz Air
– provide support / assist to other departments to negotiate best contracts
– ensure accuracy, order, and up to date information from contract filing (e-filing) and inventory database
– keep track on tender process developments (inside the company and externally)
We are looking for candidates with:
– finalized university/college degree
– minimum 5 years’ working experience in the field of Purchasing or Sales is a must
– adaptability to rapidly changing expectations, tasks
– assertive, motivated personality
– who like negotiations and have good skills in it
– good project and process management skills
– good presentation skills
– excellent English and Hungarian (verbal and written)
– excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point
– flexibility and attention to detail
– ability to manage multiple priorities under time pressure
– excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
– strong interpersonal and cooperation skills to execute deliverables from parties on different levels.
