Full-Time Quality Controller
Job Description
Experience needed: Student/Entry level
Field: Linguistics / computer science
Responsibilities:
– Monitors the social media content classification process on assigned projects
– Performs QC tasks under the direction of the projects team and is directly responsible for quality
– Collaborates with the data science and customer success teams making sure that quality standards are being met
– Maintains a constant status update on all quality related client issues and reports to project teams
– Is proactive in helping to develop and optimize the QA/QC flows.
Requirements:
– Currently studying or previous experience in linguistics or associated fields
– Previous interactions with text classification or text mining projects would be an asset
– Highly proficient in English and at least one mainstream language.
– Strong analytical and logical thinking.
– Meticulous and with extreme attention to details
– General IT knowledge and proficient in working with the Office suite (Excel, Word)
– Basic understanding of how QA/QC processes work would be an asset
– Passionate and willing to grow in the social media and communications field
The work is performed from home and the compensation is competitive.
