Retail and Commercial Manger
Our client is a leading services and solutions provider. They specialize in catering and hospitality, provisioning and logistics; and onboard products and services to companies that serve people on the move. Due to success and growth, there is an opportunity for Retail and Commercial Manager to join the team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with customer and business partners;
- Managing and developing product range;
- Managing contract and price negotiations with suppliers for specific product including agreeing contract terms, analyzing supplier proposals, and developing recommended counter-proposals to meet the local market trends;
- Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control;
- Performing sales analyses and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits;
- Interpreting trends to facilitate planning;
- Retail initiatives to maximize sales and profit
- Work closely with finance teams to give decision and result support data with management reporting
- In charge of price management: price definition, monitoring competitor’s prices;
- Marketing and listing fee negotiation and deals where applicable.
- Range marketing – passenger and crew communications;
- Developing sale onboard pages design layout proposal and flat pan.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
- Fluent in English;
- At least 5 years of working experience in a fast paced, deadline driven environment;
- Strong experience in merchandising , buying and also category and stock management from working for in large retail business;
- A great communicator, able to present at all levels both internally and externally;
- Experience in dealing with retail in Eastern Europe;
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint);
- Willingness to travel.
Advantages:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration;
- Very good communication level in at least one Eastern European language;
- Experience in travel retail business.
Job summary: Merchandiser of products and services for in-flight retail sales. Role encompasses all aspects of retail: merchandising from negotiating the supply of products and services for in-flight retail to meet KPIs (financial and other), to managing the end of life of that product in order to archive the best sales performances.
Place of works: Eastern European countries, Luton (UK), Budapest (Hungary)
