Freelance Sales Manager

Job Description

Purpose:

 

∙       Responsible for the development and performance of sales activity of team managed.

∙       Directs the sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth

∙       Works to establish plans and strategies to retain client base and deliver sales growth.

 

Description:

 

  • Contributes to the strategy to ensure that business targets are achieved

∙       To develop, continual update and communicate an effective sales plan that aims to exceed sales targets set.

∙       Ensures that sales activity is in line with the commercial strategy in order to meet business objectives and targets

∙       Ensure that sales undertaken by the sales team are an appropriate mix of pro-active and re-active opportunities ensuring there is a greater level of pro-active opportunities though targeted client acquisition and relationship building.

∙       Continually review individuals’ progress towards sales targets, providing support where members of the team are not exceeding targets.

∙       To work continually in setting sales growth targets for the team in line with business objectives.

∙       Ensure that best practice, proactive and innovative ideas are disseminated through the team, including the use of mentoring from team members.

∙       Annually undertake a review of current sales bonus schemes to ensure they are fit for purpose with regard to current business challenges.

∙       Ensure new products and services are effectively rolled out to the sales team and targets set

∙       Undertake pro-active sales & account development to meet personal sales targets. On an ongoing basis continually review the structure and operation of the sales team and where appropriate propose changes to ensure that the structure meets current and potential business needs that ensure sales potential is maximised.

∙       Produce a monthly report , including but not limited to focusing on activity within the month as well as showing progress towards targets

∙       On a monthly basis produce a comprehensive statistics covering the following as a minimum – Sales made within the month, progress of the team and individuals against sales, current pipeline value, conversion ratio of sales and proposals issued.

∙       Undertake steps to continually develop individual sales team members so they are equipped and engaged to move though the structure should they wish to.

∙       Work with Customer Service and VIP Team to ensure that the sales team receive the support required to meet their objectives.

Experience:

 

  • Proven experience of leading a professional sales teams;
  • Proven experience in a sales management role using pro-active & consultative sales techniques
  • 4+ years of experience in a gaming field
