Job Description

Assessment, Classification And Proposal Creation For The Following Types Of Requests Of International Customers

  • Standard Request: offer development based on standard service elements
  • Project Non Standard Requests: special request, customized and complex offer
  • New and enlarged services (RFI, RFP, RFQ)
  • Change Requests

Leading The Proposal Creation Process In Interaction With Customer Along The Sales Process

  • Staffing deal teams with all roles and responsibilities
  • Solution design and service description together with architects/CTO, Solution Design, Service Delivery Manager, subcontractors
  • Development of the business case and respective pricing and/or pricing model
  • Managing the approval process, ensure co-signatures

Proposal Management And Tracking

  • Submission of the proposals and follow up
  • Preparation and performing of deal presentations (supporting the Account Manager)
  • Support of contract negotiations
  • Ensure updates in T-Systems ales tools and reporting related to the contractual agreed SLA/KPI’s
  • Optimization of the entire demand chain including processes, Tools, Catalogue Items
  • University or college degree with a business or technical discipline
  • Several years of sales-professional experience
  • Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English with the corresponding security in communication with international customers and partners
  • German knowledge
  • Very good portfolio knowledge
  • Very good knowledge of contract management
  • Very good knowledge in the T-Systems bidding process
  • Very good knowledge of organization, contact person as well as processes and products within the Telekom Group
  • Experience in the management of selling teams
  • Detailed knowledge of the sales process and its IT support systems
  • Detailed knowledge of pricing processes
  • Good knowledge of calculation methods and tools
  • Expertise regarding guidelines on corporate indicators of sales
  • High advisory and methodological skills combined with an analytical, solution-oriented approach
  • Flexibility and international mobility
  • Willingness to deployments at various locations worldwide for several weeks
  • Independent and responsible work
  • High social competence in dealing with colleagues, even in critical situations and escalations
  • Analytical and structured approach
  • Safe and competent appearance coupled with good manners with a strong customer orientation
  • Willingness to improve any missing knowledge and skills
