CEE Legal Matters is a print and online publication for and about lawyers interested and working in Europe’s emerging legal markets. CEE Legal Matters features news, interviews, analysis, opinion, and more. We also host conferences and round-tables and produce special reports on fees, salaries, and other subjects of interest to lawyers in the region. Our mission is, simply, to be the go-to source of information about lawyers and legal markets in Central and Eastern Europe.

Position Summary
We are looking for a sales and account manager to identify and reach out to existing potential advertisers and increase advertising revenue in both print and online. The Sales and Account Manager is responsible for creating and implementing an effective sales strategy, identifying and reaching out to potential advertisers, and maintaining good relations with current clients. The achievement of the sales strategy will be key to the success of this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Initiate and maintain contact with actual and prospective advertisers to inform them of advertising opportunities and obtain commitments re same
- Maintain regular contact and establish good relationships with client marketing representatives to alert them to sales and editorial opportunities
- Work with Managing Directors to conceive of and implement new and creative advertising opportunities, initiatives, and campaigns
- Maintain CRM database
- Provide input as necessary in design of advertisements
- Provide technical assistance and support to both advertisers and colleagues in sales and marketing activities
- Serve as primary contact to client marketing representatives
- Coordinate with Managing Directors re developments and news obtained from client marketing representatives
- Meet sales and business development targets on an ongoing basis

- Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to focus, prioritize and plan own work
EXPERIENCE
- Two years of sales/marketing/business development experience highly recommended, but not critical
- Successful sales track record would be nice to see
- Previous sales and service experience from the B2B environment would be an advantage
- Familiarity with legal industry and law firms ideal but not required
- Familiarity with business development in publishing and online contexts highly recommended
