Purpose
- Deliver Finance Services to business in areas of work that could include receivables, reporting, accounting or treasury
- To support business by the provision of robust, timely financial information or services
- Contributes to process or service improvements
Tasks and responsibilities
- End to end responsibility in month and year end closing
- Timely delivery of relevant management reports and /or services
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency in relevant processes
- Use best practices and knowledge to improve processes/services
- Building and maintaining strong relationship with stakeholders
- Reconciling balance sheet ledgers to sub-ledgers on GL and clearing accounts
- May guide and support more junior team members
Qualifications
Knowledge, Experience, Capabilities
- BSc/MSc degree in the field of Accounting/Finance
- Fluency in English is must and additional European language is strongly desired
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment
- Strong sound of economics, finance, or accounting background
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus)
- Good understanding of local statutory, tax, and statistical reporting requirements
- Ability to effectively work in a cross-functional matrix organization
- Ability to structurally manage fast moving transformation and change agenda
