Senior Database Engineer

On behalf of our client we are looking for competent professionals for Senior Database Engineer job. The client operates in the online booking industry.

As a Senior Database Engineer you will code the database stored procedures, triggers, functions and SSIS packages in a Scrum environment. Also testing and making sure those codes are optimized and working well on a high volume of data in production environment. The team also touches areas like big data and cloud.

You are suitable if you have:

• Extensive experience in developing, enhancing and optimising stored procedures, functions and triggers with Transaction-SQL (T-SQL) on Microsoft SQL Server 2012 preferably or PL/SQL Oracle.
• Deep knowledge in query optimization and indexing technics, reading and understanding execution plan
• Extensive experience in developing a high volume of data
• Knowledge of SSIS (DTS/Microsoft Integration Services) is a plus
• Knowledge of Reporting services or MIS reports is a plus
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Good English skills in speaking, reading, writing
• Good Interpersonal and communication skill
