Overview

Our client is a global leader within the biometric market space and have a focus on real-time facial recognition via the NeoFace Watch product. NeoFace Watch takes in video from IP CCTV cameras and automatically locates faces, matching them to a database of known individuals. The platform also enables pre-recorded video and still images to be searched. The platform is hosted within a Microsoft Windows and SQL environment.

 

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have a background within the IT integration and networking market space with a security lead background. Experience of CCTV and IP camera technology is required. Candidates will be experienced at field deployment from pilots and trials through to full scale roll-out. The pre-sales nature of the role involves working with sales representatives within our client company and with both technical and commercial representatives from clients. The candidate should be a motivated self-starter, comfortable both working alone and as part of a team, carrying out a mixture of technical and commercial work on a daily basis.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the local team, partners and end-users to identify and qualify sales leads from a technical perspective, developing and executing a strategy to deploy NeoFace Watch within the region.
  • Advise senior and executive level management on biometric and facial recognition trends / requirements and provide a strategic outlook.
  • Define a technical solution for a customer, including system specification, architecture, network design software licensing, supporting services and pricing.
  • Carry out deployment of pilots through to full scale deployment, including deployment and configuration of servers, networking, cameras, software, security, etc.
  • Advise and assist system integration partners with using our product’s integral web service APIs to integrate with other systems and applications
  • Influence and respond to procurements including RFI and RFP.
  • Attend trade shows in both a technical and commercial capacity to demonstrate the product to the wider market.
  • Carry out first and second line support for facial recognition deployments.

 

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent professional certification(s)
  • 5 years’ experience working with technology vendors and systems integrators.
  • A software development background would be advantageous.
  • Detailed understanding of IT systems infrastructure, design and deployment, including TCP/IP networking, security, Windows 8.1, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server
  • Comprehensive understanding of software integration mechanisms such as Web Services, XML and SOAP
  • Ideally a good understanding of IP CCTV cameras systems and Video Management Systems, including configuration of cameras, bandwidth calculation, quality of service and view optimization.
  • A knowledge of Cyber Security and Security Operations Centers.
  • Comfortable presenting to both senior / board level management and end-users.
  • Experience of video analytics and biometrics, specifically facial recognition, is advantageous.
  • Fluent in both written and oral English and Local language.
  • Ability to speak other European languages is advantageous.
  • Full passport with the ability to travel as required.
  • Full and clean driver’s license.
