Job Description
Responsibilities:
The jobholder will support the CEE Divisional Finance Officer and is responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial planning tasks, at the bridge between Finance and the Business.
She/he will act as a partner to the business, supporting and participating in decision-making to support business strategies, and ensure uncompromised controllership and internal control standards across CEE cluster covering Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia.
The Jobholder’s role encompasses responsibilities in the following areas:
• Ensure that Finance is closely integrated with, and positively supports the business providing managers with the necessary information to maximize revenue, profitability and efficiency;
• Ensure timely and quality delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial tasks / closing;
• Work with the Management teams in the Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia offices in the development and implementation of short and medium term strategic, tactical plans and provide the financial input required to that process;
• Monitor business drivers, financial/market trends, revenues, deal incentives, and expenses; identify risks and opportunities;
• Prepare reporting and performance information including variance analysis;
•Support local management with any financial ad hoc reporting that might help to drive appropriate business decisions
• Manage financial budgets and forecasts covering revenues, contra revenues and marketing, GO&A expenses
• Drive account and incentive planning/forecasting with account managers; development of business case financial models and deal structures;
• Assure that financial policies and procedures are followed, drive controllership excellence;
• Facilitate internal audit reviews;
Required Experience / Skills:
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic professional with the following experience and qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field
• Relevant qualification in finance, accounting and/or a related discipline, with 3 to 5 years of experience;
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Experience / knowledge in working with Oracle, knowledge of Hyperion is a plus
• Highly numerate and analytical, but also able to step back and see the larger strategic picture;
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills;
• Positive minded;
• Results driven, flexible and adaptable; able to work efficiently under pressure and deadlines;
• Solutions oriented
• Able to work in a multi-cultural work environment
