Job Description
A Purchasing Team Leader position is now open at our multinational partner, who operates a shared service centre in Budapest. The company currently seeks for a Spanish or Italian speaking professional to join their purchasing team as leader. The Purchasing Team Leader position’s overall aim is to manage a team of clerks and to improve the current purchasing methods.
As Purchasing Team Leader you will have a key role in overviewing existing systems and procedures, continuously making recommendations towards development and implementing changes. Your main tasks will include negotiating escalated prices and conditions on large bids, following up that supplier technical tools function trouble-free, controlling your team’s work, and providing analysis on market trends. You will also have the opportunity to take part in training new staff members, and to act as deputy of your immediate supervisor.

An ideal candidate for this position has:
•a university and / or college degree;
•at least 5 years of experience in purchasing;
•at least 3 years of experience in people management;
•fluent English and Italian / Spanish language skills.
