Full-Time Support Engineer for Centers of Expertise EMEA – Software Logistics

Job Description
Our prestigious multinational client with worldwide presence is looking for a (Associate) Support Engineer (f/m) to its Budapest-based business service center. The Support Engineer will be responsible for support customer of the premium engagement segment anytime with 100% commitment: planning, assessing, optimizing, executing and safeguarding their maintenance events in particular focused on S/4 HANA solutions.
Skills and competencies / Work experiences:
– University degree in Mathematics, Information Technology, Engineering or Natural Sciences
– Strong analytical and logical skills
– Enjoy working in an international team
– Very good communication skills
– Enjoy facing and tackling new challenges in different roles on a regular basis
– Interested in very technical IT topics like software updates, performance analysis, databases, hardware layouts/components, networks
– Have very good English and German skills (spoken and written)
– Willing to travel worldwide on a regular basis also on short notice
– Experience with SAP ABAP and JAVA based Netweaver systems
– Experience with RDBMS databases like MSSQL, MAXDB, Oracle, DB2 or SAP HANA
– Experience with Linux, Unix
– Programming skills in at least one language e.g. (ABAP, JAVA, C, C++, SQL or similar)
