Full-Time Team Lead Java Developer
Job Description
Andersen, an international IT сompany, invites a Team Lead Java Developer to work on a large-scale project for an Austrian customer.
The project is the development of software for manufacturing automation.
The customer company is a leading expert in manufacturing automation. Its core competencies also include product and software development, energy-efficient building technology, and laboratory automation. The customer has 12 enterprises on three continents.
Tech stack on the project: Java, Apache ActiveMQ, Apache Kafka, Spring Framework, Apache Camel, Apache Log4j, Java Database Connectivity, Java Message Service, MyBatis, JUnit, Mockito, Gradle, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
Responsibilities:
– Developing new and improving existing software systems for automated series production;
– Creating concepts of, designing, programming, and testing new products and features;
– Taking responsibility for the creation of system and software architectures;
– Coaching and supporting Junior software developers (4 specialists).
Must-haves:
– Commercial development experience in Java for 4+ years;
– Experience as a Team Lead for 1+ years;
– Experience with Apache ActiveMQ and Apache Kafka;
– Experience with Spring Framework: Dependency Injection, @Configuration, spring-tx, Spring Web Services (REST), and Spring Boot;
– Experience with Apache Camel;
– Knowledge of logging libraries like Apache Log4j (SLF4J API);
– Experience with JDBC, JMS, MyBatis, JUnit, Mockito, and Gradle;
– Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL;
– Level of English – Upper-Intermediate.
Nice-to-haves:
– Completed education in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
