Job Category: Sales Location: Budapest, HU Job ID: 840239-113544 Division: Sales Technical Solution Specialist – Desktop solutions The Technical Solution Specialist (TSS) is a pre-sales role with specialized skills who works with Microsoft’s internal account teams to identify and drive opportunities in targeted workloads. The key goal of a TSS is to increase incremental sales volume of Desktop Solutions (including Windows, Office and O365) especially those in compete areas, through the generation of opportunities that result in customer licensing wins for that product or solution. The TSS role provides a technical contribution to revenue goals in the Microsoft solutions. The TSS will supplement the technical selling capability of SMS&P team to engage customers in solution-specific pre-sales discussions. The TSS adds value to customers and partners by providing technology and business solutions credibility and expertise, and by continuously demonstrating the business value of investments in Microsoft solutions. Main responsibilities: •Contacting prospective customers via telephone and qualifies the opportunity; Addresses the customer business needs by translating Microsoft’s technical capabilities into customer value; •Determines the most effective and efficient course of action to advance an opportunity toward close; •Own and manage the customer and partner technical relationships during the initial sales engagement process as required, answering technical questions and providing answers through available resources; •Identifies, engages, and provides briefing to appropriate partner to develop and close opportunity; •Develop and maintain relationships with the external community of users; •Attend competitive engagements and events. Requirements: •3-5 years of related experience; •Good understanding of the relationship between technology and business; •Experience in selling into large and medium accounts; •Knowledge of sales methodologies; •Excellent presentation & negotiation skills; •Knowledge of specific Microsoft technologies (Windows, Office, O365); •Knowledge of specific competitive cloud technologies.
