Dear Mr./ Tisztelt Ur,
I am interested in working for you as Hungarian-English translator, in fact I am already doing that for an international company, where I also use French and Italian on which I am licensed too. During the last 8 years I combined the translator, interpreter and teacher jobs, which gave me a lot of satisfaction due to the various domains I was involved in (justice, tourism, medicine, technology, etc.), so I think that my experience would perfectly serve your interests.
In case you would like more informations or a collaboration, please do not hesitate to contact me via e-mail and/or telephone +36309998233.
Thank you very much for your kind attention!
Best regards,
L. D.

Dear Sir,
I am very interested this job, and usually in jobs like this. My native language is Hungarian, with an English language major at the university (Eötvös Loránd University). This summer, I took part in the development of an English monolingual online dictionary, which added even more to my vocabulary and grammar.
If you find my application suitable, please contact me via e-mail.
Best regards,

Dear Mr. Mason.
Nobody should translate in both directions, however much they think they can. Anybody who does a translation course at a degree level will be taught that at the first lesson. Unfortunately, people do.
We have a better solution. Monika (wife) is a native Hungarian with qualifications in English, and Simon (husvband) a native English speaker with various language qualifications but not officially Hungarian. We often translate articles on Wikipedia from Hungarian to English or vice versa, but always into our mother tongue, never out of it: which is the way it should be done.
Since the role is freelance, our collaboration presumably would not matter to you, we would just share the fee between the two of us. We have a track record of extremely high quality translations at English and Hungarian Wikipedia, and have all kinds of language text books etc at home we can refer to in case of doubt.
Even when we got married (in England) our service booklets were in Hungarian on the left (Bride’s side) and English on the right (my side), so our Hungarian family could follow.
It is a very bad idea, we suggest, to expect someone to translate both ways.
Yours sincerely
Simon and Monika Trew

Dear Simon,
Please will you contact us in West Wratting? We’re still at no 23 and a couple who are missionaries that you once hosted, want to get in touch with you.
Best regards,
Richard
