Full-Time USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER
Job Description
- You will ‘own’ UX/UI design and will play a key role in defining the UX design elements for our products.
- You will help drive user experience insights and ultimately translate those into wireframes, designs, prototypes and actual products
- You will further improve user experience, increase conversions and boost customer satisfaction
- You are an advocate for the end user, always seeking ways to improve and innovate
- You design functional yet elegant and beautiful experiences based on user’s needs and emotions, business goals and technology for web and mobile platforms
- You are the best to create personas, user journeys, conceptual models, site maps, navigation frameworks, user interfaces, wireframes, UX design mock-ups and prototypes for mobile, web and desktop UI contexts
- You assist and support the visual design team through asset creation and the implementation of brand design guidelines
- You prepare and conduct validation and usability tests, adopting the results to further improve designs
- You will collaborate with designers, developers and managers in the product teams and with IT and Sales & Marketing to drive from problem to idea to design to launch
- You can present your concept and design solutions in a convincing way with argumentation backing up your thoughts and decisions
- You make sure that informed design decisions are made
- Participate in the wider public design community through sharing your work on community sites such as SDL Community or Dribbble.

Desired Skills & Experience
- You have 4 or more years of professional experience in designing digital experiences and Interaction design
- You have an outstanding design portfolio demonstrating how you approached and solved design problems in previous projects (Dribbble, Behance, online, or PDF)
- You are experienced in working across broad range of websites and applications (desktop and mobile)
- You have experience in designing complex and functional user interfaces encompassing multiple user needs
- You are proficient in creating compelling UX design concepts, mockups, wireframes, and prototypes using tools such as Balsamiq, Axure, Invision or others
- You are an absolute ninja in using visual user interface design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe Fireworks
- Experience in mobility, data visualisation, user profiling and data analytics alongside new developments within the UX field
- You are well experienced in the development of dynamic websites, intranets and web-based applications from a UX perspective
- You bring in knowledge, methods, principles, and techniques in visual UI design, interaction design, and user experience design for the context of web sites, web applications, and native mobile apps
- General knowledge of industry specific software for visual design, wireframing and prototyping purposes
- Solid knowledge of basic web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Google Analytics
- Experience in conducting user research using qualitative and quantitative methodologies
- Capability to interact with different departments, preferably in an agile development environment
- Ability to switch between strategic thinking and concrete tasks
- Without a doubt you’re creative, proactive, energetic and have analytical skills
- You can communicate effectively in English (written & spoken) with your teams, with other internal stakeholders, and customers in individual and group settings.
