Part-Time Whip Smart Web Developer

ChangeLab23 – Posted by changelab23 Anywhere

Job Description

We’re idea developers with entrepreneurial vision, designing and building web, mobile and desktop apps that spark meaningful human experiences and generate good business. We are currently looking to add a DEVELOPER to our team to shape and manage the future of our digital products and ventures.

At ChangeLab23, we are a team of entrepreneurs working at the intersection of design, technology and strategy to both build up new products and services and optimize existing ones. Our clients range from startups to established companies, but all are looking to leverage our expertise to offer their customers amazing user experiences. We also incubate our own products– an example is CrowdValley.com, the infrastructure leading the way in equity crowdfunding.

We’re looking for an ambitious developer who will power our team with technical knowledge as we continue to develop our company, our in-house products and also work with clients to create exceptional digital products.

Your role may range from creating solid system architectures and setting up servers to helping position our technical services in the market and manage client projects.  You would also be involved in developing front-end UIs and the back-end of powerful web apps.

We would LOVE if you:

Are the ‘hands-on’ type but want to grow into a managerial role: Your first love is building by code, but you want to gain experience in directing and managing projects too. You would work on internal projects to build ChangeLab23, but also act as a communication bridge between ChangeLab23 and our software development partner. We’re looking for someone who likes to take ownership as they develop solutions for complex business problems.

Have a firm grasp of your choice of programming/development languages: You can think like a programmer and are confident in your coding abilities. It’s more important to us that you can identify the problem and the best strategy to take (for example, whether to build from scratch or use an existing framework). If you don’t know much about the language, you dive in and learn.

Want to develop the technical side of our business: We are a digital product design company first, but we are now also looking to build our development muscle.

You’ll work with to build new business opportunities as a technical advocate along with our CEO and business development team.

Want to earn a defining role in a different kind of startup:  Every position at our company is earned. As we develop a mutually valuable relationship, we also begin to open up more opportunities from our network. If you want to build your skills and portfolio in new areas, our team will support and facilitate it.

You’ll benefit from our liberating remote working culture and ownership in our company in the form of equity options.  You have the freedom to shape your role to fit your professional goals and curiosities.

We offer a flexible time commitment, but we’re always looking for a longer-term relationship as we grow our venture.

This is very much an entrepreneurial opportunity – everyone in our organization is treated as an entrepreneur. This includes both the risk and uncertainty of pioneering new markets and the creative freedom to build unprecedented experiences.  If you are looking for a safe and certain opportunity, this is not it.

We can promise that you will be constantly learning and working at the forefront of new markets on a global level along with a brilliant team. For a true entrepreneur, we believe we can offer one amazing adventure.
