I am writing to express my interest in joining you as a freelance medical/scientific writer, as advertised above.
In addition to my application for this role, I would like to briefly state that I am a medical doctor, graduate of the University of Bologna, Italy, with considerable clinical experience in the management and care of patients with chronic diseases. I received a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology from the University of Basel, Switzerland, and I have also worked as a clinical researcher at the University Hospital Basel, Switzerland. My background work in evidence based healthcare research has provided me with a sound understanding of clinical research and the process of drug development and also a keen interest in pharmacoepidemiology and drug safety issues.
